Description

Mechanics for Beginners (Ages 6.5 - 7) βš™οΈπŸ—οΈ

When: Once a week for 60 minutes

What we learn:This course introduces key mechanical concepts through hands-on construction of mechanical prototypes. Students will explore how everyday machines, such as elevators and cranes, work by analyzing their structure, movement, and function. By building their own working models, children gain a deeper understanding of the mechanics behind the world around them.

A look into the class:Each lesson begins with a teacher-led presentation where students discover a new machine or mechanism. For example, in an Elevator class, children will explore how elevators function, their history, and the key components that allow them to move. They will then work independently using step-by-step iPad instructions to build their own models. Throughout the process, the teacher provides guidance, encourages critical thinking, and fosters discussions to deepen understanding. πŸ”πŸ”§

What we achieve:This course introduces children to fundamental physics principles, including different types of motion (rotary, oscillatory, translational), simple mechanisms, and various types of transmissions (gears, pulleys, levers, inclined planes, and more). Through hands-on building and problem-solving, students will apply critical thinking to their creations while developing teamwork, communication, and engineering skills. πŸš€

Mechanics for Beginners (Âges 6,5 - 7 ans) βš™οΈπŸ—οΈ

Our courses consist of two semesters: Level 1 and Level 2, which take place within one year and include a total of 37 classes. Typically, students complete a year of lessons before moving on to a more advanced course. However, in some cases, if their teacher believes they are ready, they can advance earlier.
