PLAY GROUP (2.5 - 4.5 ans) 🧸🔴🔵 Parent participation is required in this class This is a "Parent & Child" program designed as a gentle introduction to friendship building and social interactions. Parents will join their child each week, supporting their learning and confidence through playful, hands-on activities such as lego building, group puzzles, friendship circle and story time. Our play group is designed with all children in mind! Everyone is invited to us as we explore the world of STEM. What we achieve: A look inside the class: After that it’s play time! Each week the class will be set up with different stations where the children are free to explore. The stations are strategically set up to allow for a certain number of children to play as well as focusing on a specific developmental need. For example; the children may arrive 1 day to find a partnered puzzle station where they will need to work with a peer to complete the puzzle, a large block building station for 4 where they will need to work together to build the item of the day which will be posted for them, and a group painting station where they are given a theme and each encouraged to add to the design while being mindful of others’ additions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cancellation and make-up policies Early withdrawal fee: In the event of an early withdrawal before the final paid class, a fee of $50 will be applicable. The remaining amount corresponding to the unattended classes will be transferred to your family credit account and can be used towards any activity at our school. Through hands-on building and creative play, children develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, verbal communication, and social skills in a structured yet fun environment. Our main focus is creating a solid foundation for children to build on while learning about colors, shapes, sizes, spatial notions and mechanical workings while exploring the world around them. We will use each class as an opportunity to build on newfound knowledge - one brick at a time!
Each class begins with an interactive circle time where the children will have the chance to talk and listen! Circle time is a wonderful opportunity to practice social skills, communication skills and interaction skills. We will participate in storytime, songs and dancing as well!
