Description

Programming with Spike Prime (Ages 9-11) 🤖💡

When:
Once a week for 60 minutes

What we learn:
In this course, students will design, build, and program their own robots using the LEGO Spike Prime set! They will explore the fundamentals of robotics and coding, bringing their creations to life while developing problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

A look into the class:
Each session, students will assemble a unique robot designed to complete a specific task. This hands-on approach challenges them to apply coding and engineering concepts in a fun and interactive way! For example, in a Drumming Robot class, students will build a robot capable of playing a drumbeat. While they’ll receive building instructions and a programming blueprint, they must develop their own code to create the rhythm—deepening their understanding of coding principles and real-world applications. 🎵⚙️

What we achieve:
Students will learn about essential electronic components, such as color sensors and tilt sensors, while mastering programming basics and variable concepts. Using their newfound skills, they will code their robots to complete various challenges set by their teacher. Along the way, they will enhance their critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, all while gaining confidence in the exciting world of robotics! 🚀

Programming with Spike Prime  (Âges 9-11 ans) 🤖💡

Our courses consist of two semesters: Level 1 and Level 2, which take place within one year and include a total of 37 classes. Typically, students complete a year of lessons before moving on to a more advanced course. However, in some cases, if their teacher believes they are ready, they can advance earlier.
