Description

Little Inventors (Ages 3-5) πŸ§ΈπŸ”΄πŸ”΅

When: Once a week for 2 hours

How is this class different from our Early Development classes?
Our Early Development class focused solely on LEGO DUPLO builds for 45 minutes. Little Inventors expands on this experience by offering a 2-hour, theme-based adventure that combines hands-on LEGO building with engaging STEM or art activities. Each week, children will explore a new theme, bringing their creations to life through interactive storytelling, science experiments, and creative projects. This extended format allows for deeper learning, more creativity, and an immersive experience that sparks curiosity and excitement!

What we learn:
Designed for our youngest learners, Little Inventors encourages children to explore, discover, and create using brightly colored LEGO DUPLO bricks and LEGO System pieces. They will build models of animals, vehicles, buildings, and fairy-tale characters, sparking their imagination and curiosity.

After their LEGO building adventure, children will dive into a STEM or art activity related to the theme of the day. This may include:
✨ A hands-on science experiment
🎨 A creative craft
πŸ”¬ An exciting material exploration

A look inside the class:
Each lesson is story-driven and interactive, bringing learning to life! 🌟

For example, in a zoo-themed class, children will listen to a fun story about zoo animals, discuss their favorite animals and build a LEGO monkey, crocodile, or parrot. Then learn about bird feeding, discover native Canadian birds, and create a bird feeder to take home! Every week, a new theme keeps learning fresh, exciting, and engaging!

What we achieve:
Through hands-on building and creative play, children develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, verbal communication, and social interaction in a structured yet fun environment. They will also learn about colors, shapes, and sizes while exploring the world around them—one brick at a time!

This course is teacher-led, and we understand that it may be your child’s first time in an activity without parents - but don’t worry! Our experienced teachers are here to help ensure a smooth transition!
