Make-Up Class Policy:
Please note the following details regarding our make-up class policy. Participation in our make-up classes is entirely voluntary. If you prefer not to attend a make-up class, kindly let us know! Our teacher's prepare individual kits for each student, and hold them after an absence. Letting us know will help us keep our LEGO kits up to date!
1. Make-Up Class Eligibility and Course Alignment:
- Make-up classes are available only for eligible courses
- Courses that are eligible for a makeup class - Science in your world, Fun with engineering, Mechanics for Beginners, Robotics for Beginners, Robotics with Scratch, Programming with Spike Prime, Mindstorms Robotics, Project Robotics
- Courses that are not eligible for a makeup class - Early Development, Discovering the world with Minecraft: EE, Programming with Minecraft: EE, Architecture, Game Development. In case of absence of these classes, the amounts paid are non-refundable
- Students can book a make-up class only within the same course they are enrolled in. This ensures that they can work on the topic they missed. For example, if a student missed two classes in the Robotics for Beginners course, they cannot book make-up classes in the Architecture course
- Please, note that the make-up lesson for a missed class can only be scheduled once. If the child misses their make-up class, the amount paid is non-refundable and no further make-up can be booked
2. Make-Up Class Structure:
- A make-up class means that the student will attend two classes within the same weekend: their regular class and the make-up class
- If parents choose to book a make-up class right before or after their child's regular class, we kindly invite them to provide a snack and extra water for their child. During the break, the student can enjoy the snack and stay in the classroom under the supervision of the teacher. This arrangement is designed to enhance convenience for both parents and students. Please, make sure to inform our administrative team at reception on the day of the class if you have scheduled back-to-back make-up classes
- Make-up classes are only permitted within the semester and cannot be added as an extra class
3. Booking Make-Up Classes:
- To assist with planning, we publish the available make-up class time slots every Wednesday at 2 pm for the upcoming weekend
- Parents have until Friday at 2 pm to view the available time slots and book their make-up class if they wish to do so
- Please note that make-up class availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis, so we encourage you to book early to secure your preferred time slot.
Please, note, that we make every effort to provide a range of time slots for make-up classes. However, if there are no available time slots due to group capacity or if the suggested times are inconvenient for the parents' schedule, the amounts paid for missed classes are non-refundable. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding as we work diligently to provide the best possible make-up class options.
