Description

Mindstorms Robotics (Ages 10-15) 🤖🔧

When:
Once a week for 2 hours

What we learn:
In this course, students will dive into the exciting world of advanced robotics, mechanics, and programming using the LEGO Mindstorms® EV3 kit. Over the span of 3 semesters, they will construct and program some of the most sophisticated robots, gaining hands-on experience while exploring math and physics concepts that power these creations. Instead of just learning theory, students will apply scientific principles to build robots that come to life!

A look into the class:
Each lesson is an opportunity for students to study the robot they are building—understanding its structure, functions, and real-world applications. They will explore operational modes and the essential math and physics principles behind their robot’s design. Then, using this knowledge, students will construct, program, and troubleshoot their robots, solving challenges that arise during the process.

What we achieve:
This program is designed to develop critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork while building essential scientific and technical literacy. Students will enhance their communication skills and learn how to work effectively with others to complete challenging tasks, making learning both engaging and collaborative. 🚀💡

Our courses consist of two semesters: Level 1 and Level 2, which take place within one year and include a total of 37 classes. Typically, students complete a year of lessons before moving on to a more advanced course. However, in some cases, if their teacher believes they are ready, they can advance earlier.
